December 31st is New Year’s Eve and in the Netherlands it is a tradition to bake and ate your own oliebollen. For the last six or seven years my mother and I baked oliebollen, apple-beignets and pine-apple beignets as a family-tradition. After waiting for a whole year, today at 9am we started. Ok, one of my clients asked me to make a top-7 list of my favorite things from this year. Why a top-7?
