SnowBall Music Festival Adds Snoop Dogg, The Kooks To 2012 LineUp

After an impressive first year that boasted the likes of The Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, Twin Shadow and Local Natives, SnowBall Music Festival will return to the  legendary Vail Valley this March for another year of extreme music, winter sports and fun. New additions to the lineup include performances by Snoop Dogg, The Kooks,  Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr, Gardens & Villa, Ghostland Observatory, Pictureplane, Dada Life, Mimosa, Princeton, DallasK and many more. They will join previously announced acts like  TV on the Radio, Rusko, Head and the Heart, Bassnectar, Big Boi, Deer Tick, Major Lazer, Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Cassian, Gauntlet Hair, Small Black, Los Amigos Invisibles, Dillon Francis, Big Freedia, Tribes, Plastic Plates, Trampled By Turtles, Thundercat Figure and My Goodness. Not only will festivalgoers be treated to performances by top-notch musical talent, they’ll also have the chance to hit the slopes for some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world.

ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL XIV Unveils Massive Line-Up

2011 was an incredible year for festivals and electronic music.  With the New Year rapidly approaching, all eyes are focused on what’s to come next with the leader being ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL (ULTRA), the world’s premiere electronic music event.  Tickets are moving at lightning speed, only a limited amount remain (with early bird and advance on-sale tickets selling out in record time), so the promoters are highly encouraging fans not to miss out by unveiling the majority of the ULTRA line-up on the Phase 1 announcement.

Listen to 76 New Bob Dylan Songs By Over 80 Artists

In honor of Human Rights Day on Saturday, December 10, Amnesty International will premiere Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/amnestyusa). The 4-disc collection - set for release on January 24, 2012, in North America and January 30 internationally - contains 76 newly recorded Bob Dylan songs by more than 80 artists. Chimes of Freedom can be pre-ordered starting December 10 at: http://www.amnestyusa.org/chimes.

A special two-disc version of Chimes of Freedom will be available at Starbucks beginning January 24, while supplies last. This special edition, curated by Starbucks, will feature a total of 31 tracks.

Individuals who “Like” Amnesty International USA on Facebook  (www.facebook.com/amnestyusa) will be able to stream the entire collection for a 24-hour period beginning Saturday at 11 a.m. EST/8 a.m. PST. In addition, on Saturday RollingStone.com will post exclusive in-the-studio footage of Ke$ha, Pete Townshend and We Are Augustines.
