
Soundtrack features 1920’s era songs exclusivley re-recorded for the show by artists such as Regina Spektor, Loudon Wainwright III, Leon Redbone, Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks and Martha Wainwright
Additionally, some of the artists on the soundtrack are also featured on the show as musicians from the time period - vaudeville star Eddie Cantor played by Stephen DeRosa, singer/actress Sophie Tucker played by Hairspray’s Kathy Brier and theatre star Edith Day portrayed by Erin McGrath…Current jazz artist Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks Orchestra are featured on the show as the house band in the local nightclub, and contribute 5 songs to the soundtrack.
